🎟️ Booking Your Train Tickets
When to book
- Pre-booking (recommended for peak season): TGV seats do sell out during busy months. If you pre-book, build in a 45-minute buffer post-landing for deplaning, immigration, and a quick restroom break. Add extra time if you're checking bags.
- Booking on arrival: you can buy tickets on arrival via the Trainline app or at the station machines or ticket window once you land.

Important policy note: TGV tickets are non-refundable. Only pre-book if your travel insurance covers missed connections due to flight delays, or if you prefer the peace of mind of guaranteed seats during peak travel windows.

🏃 Terminal Arrival & Station Walk
- Transit time: depending on your arrival terminal, the walk to the station (Gare) takes roughly 3 to 7 minutes after exiting immigration.
- Follow the signage: look for clear overhead signs reading "Gare" (train station).

Pro tip: use the free restrooms inside the terminal before entering the station. Restrooms inside the train station require a small fee.

🚉 Navigating Terminal 2 Station
- Which board to read: look for the departure boards. Ignore the green boards, those display arrivals.
- Ticket backup options: if your phone loses signal or battery, buy physical tickets at the yellow or blue automated machines, or the customer service office nearby.
- Alternative transfers: if you prefer door to door transit, official taxi ranks and Uber pickups are located right outside the main terminal exits. Never accept rides from unofficial drivers inside the concourse.

📍 Finding Your Spot on the Platform
- Check the main departure board: match your train number to your assigned platform letter or number.
- Understand platform boarding letters: check your ticket for your carriage (Voiture) number, then look at the overhead digital display screens on the platform level. They show a map of the incoming train aligned with alphabetical letters marked on the station floor (Sector A, B, C, and so on).
- Stand in your designated zone: walk to the floor letter corresponding to your carriage before the train arrives.

Crucial warning: the TGV only stops for a few minutes. Standing in the wrong section, especially on a shortened train set, can cause you to miss boarding entirely.

🚂 The Journey & Arrival
- Transit duration: around 10 minutes.
- Destination station: Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy, the very first stop on your train journey.

🏨 Exiting at Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy
Once you take the escalators up from the platform, choose your path based on your accommodation:
- Staying at an official Disney hotel: take the hotel connection exit. Free Disney Hotel shuttles depart roughly every 15 minutes.
- Heading straight to the parks or Disney Village: head out the main exit. This brings you straight to Disney's central security checkpoint, where you can walk straight into the parks or Disney Village.
- Staying off-site in Val d'Europe: follow the signs to the RER A platform inside the station for a 2-minute connection down to Val d'Europe.
